The curvaceous actress, whose real name is Fosi Mpole Hamis, while speaking during an interview with a local publication said she was equally shocked by allegations that she is Joho’s side chick.
Trisha noted that she has been forced to contend with several rumors peddled about her love life.
Nonetheless, the actress wondered why she was romantically linked with Joho without receipts to prove their alleged affair.
“One of the weirdest rumour I ever heard about me was that I was dating former Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho. To this day I have never understood how someone would just sit and come up with such untrue stories even without bothering to verify. That honestly shocked me,” she said.
The 29-year-old insisted that it was not a problem to date Joho but the truth of the matter is that it never happened.
Trisha stated that she enjoys her current relationship but additionally confessed that she doesn’t have a problem dating married men.
“My view on dating married men has never changed, I don’t see anything wrong with dating married men. I’m Muslim and according to our teachings it’s halal for a man to marry up to four wives and there is good reason for that,” she said.
Trisha also stated that she hates being referred as a ‘socialite’ which she perceives as a derogatory name.
“I honestly hate it when people call me a socialite because I’m not. I have never given anybody a reason to refer to me as a socialite. I work. I’m an actress, I won a spa and run a boutique as well. All I do is work, how then I’m a socialite. I’m not,” she said.
Trisha Khalid is not the first celebrity to be romantically linked with Joho. The former Mombasa governor is known for his taste of fine ladies like Natalie Tewa and Betty Kyallo.
