- In a recent sermon, Bishop Oyedepo delivered a strikingly humorous yet deeply profound analogy about his complete lack of knowledge when it comes to operating an ATM machine.
- As he spoke, the congregation was filled with laughter, but the underlying message carried weight. He used this moment to drive home a powerful spiritual truth.
Bishop David Oyedepo, the visionary founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, recently captivated his congregation with a piercingly insightful instance about his inability to withdraw cash from an ATM.
During the 3rd Pre-Shiloh Encounter and Anointing Service, which was shared recently on the church’s official Facebook page, Oyedepo delivered a profound message on the necessity of understanding spiritual principles to unlock the vast blessings that God has prepared for His people.
He passionately emphasized that many believers, despite being in close proximity to God’s abundant resources, are unable to access them due to a lack of knowledge or failure to properly apply the vital spiritual keys—such as unwavering faith, persistent prayer, and wholehearted obedience—that are essential for unlocking divine blessings.
Taking his message to a relatable level, Bishop Oyedepo humorously confessed his personal detachment from modern banking technology.
The cleric used his inability to operate an ATM machine as an impactful analogy; said just as he cannot withdraw money from an ATM without understanding how it works, many believers remain spiritually blocked from accessing God’s blessings because they fail to understand or apply the spiritual principles required to unlock them.
His words;
“Some people bank account number is heavy with Jesus. But they don’t know how to withdraw. They don’t know the ATM pin.
If you lock me up in ATM room today, I can’t press it. I don’t know how to operate it and I’m not planning to learn it.”
