The guest posted a video to social media in which he urged users for clarifications and expressed his uncertainty.
The man is heard in the video asking, perhaps curiously but also worriedly, about the strange towel shapes.
The man said that every time the hotel workers cleaned his room, he would come back to find the towel artfully placed to seem like a snake curled up on his bed.
The man, whose name is being withheld, asked internet users for advice.
