In a video, the nominated senator admitted that she has a dispute with her LandLord but said that she will handle it.
“My salary is 1.2 million, if am staying somewhere am paying rent, if there is any dispute it is not because sina pesa. Wrangles arise in every situation. It’s true there is a dispute but sijasota I don’t gamble my money. The government has given us senators a good mortgage to get our own property,” she said.
“I have not been auctioned but there is a wrangle which I will handle.”
She also addressed a viral video of her purported noting it was a lie.
“Kuna mpaka video, nimevaa nguo ya yellow. Ukiona hio video hata hakuna nyumba kwani mi naishi kwa barabara? Naauctioniwa kwa barabara?” she posed.
At the same time she called out the media house that was responsible for publishing the story saying it was done out of malice.
“That’s malice. If it was real news ingechukuliwa na Standard, Citizen na kila mtu but it has been run by one house meaning imepewa hio kazi. You can’t sponsor media or headline to bring me down I am unstoppable. The best strategy to deal me niite tuongee,” she said.
She however doesn’t plan to take legal action against the media house.
“I don’t give life to negativity,” she said. “This is not the first time, the story began in January the same amount. Hata wangeogeza kidogo ifike 2 million.”
In the report, it was stated that she was facing auction over Ksh1.25 rent arrears.
She also denied claims of wearing fake butts, saying hers are natural.
