I am sorry – Tonto Dikeh tenders apology to Funke Akindele for failing to honour her invitation, she responds

Popular Nigerian Actress, Tonto Dikeh caused a stir online after she apologised to her senior colleague, Funke Akindele.

All roads led to Filmhouse Cinemas, Landmark event center, in the Oniru area of Lagos on Sunday, December 11, for the official premiere of actress Funke Akindele Bello’s latest film, Battle on Buka Street.

Colleagues like Iyabo Ojo, Sola Sobowale, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Nkechi Blessing Sunday and Femi Adebayo, among others all showed up to support one of their own.

Tonto Dikeh had also scored an invite to Funke Akindele’s movie premiere but had failed to attend.

Taking to her Instagram page , Tonto apologised to her after congratulating her on her new project.

According to the mother of one, she sent her team to the movie premiere and they couldn’t stop telling her about the movie.

Tonto wrote;

Congratulations sis.
Sorry for not making it to the premiere of BATTLE ON BUKA STREET. My team couldn’t stop telling me how amazing the movie is and I can’t wait for our cinemas date to go see the film!!!
Guys BATTLE ON BUKA STREET will start showing in cinemas nationwide from the 16 of December make sure to see this movie!!

When Funke came across the post, she replied; “ My sister, thanks”
