“Huwa Tunagombana Tu Kidogo” Yvette Obura Opens Up On Co-parenting With Bahati

Yvette Obura recently shared intimate details about her personal life, particularly her journey of co-parenting with singer Kevin Kioko, popularly known as Bahati.

In an interview with a local news outlet, Obura shed light on various aspects of her life, highlighting the dynamics of co-parenting with Bahati and his wife, Diana Marua.

Describing Bahati and Diana as exemplary parents to their daughter, Mueni, Obura expressed gratitude for the harmonious co-parenting arrangement, emphasizing that Mueni’s well-being remains their top priority.

“Co-parenting is amazing. I think the only fight we have with Bahati is that he wants Mueni to spend more time with him. We have never had any conflicts. They are amazing people,” she said.

Addressing online rumors suggesting a reconciliation with Bahati, Obura categorically denied any such occurrence, emphasizing the importance of respecting Bahati’s marriage to Diana and urging others to do the same.

Obura clarified that her break-up with her boyfriend happened just last year, making it implausible for her to have reconciled with Bahati.

“When? Never! My break-up happened last year, so when could it have happened? Make it make sense,” she said.

In a heartfelt moment, Obura showered Diana Bahati with praise for her role as a mother to Mueni, recounting a time when Diana provided support during a difficult period, demonstrating her kindness and generosity.

“Diana Bahati is such an amazing mum, and I am giving her her flowers. There was this one time I had a very bad mental breakdown, and she took Mueni for like two weeks. You can’t raise a child when you are mentally unwell. That day, I was just amazed and told myself this girl is heaven sent. Even the clothes Mueni wears, I don’t buy them. She just comes and tells me Diana bought them. She calls her mum,” Obura shared.
