Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham are loving each other through the public critique they’ve faced following the actress’ feud with her husband’s mom, Victoria Beckham.
“We always have each other’s back, no matter what. At the end of the day we’re best friends and we wouldn’t have it any other way,” the couple told Vogue Hong Kong when asked how they handle “external commentary” of their union.
“We don’t think about our relationship as being in the spotlight, we just think about us as being in a relationship.”
Brooklyn, 23, and Peltz, 27, have denied that there are any issues between the new wife and her mother-in-law, with the “Transformers” actress believing the buzz started when she didn’t wear a Victoria Beckham-brand gown on her wedding day, opting for Valentino.
The couple married in April, with Brooklyn revealing during the chat that he knew he wanted to marry the beauty during her first visit to his native London.
“Before she was about to leave, I bought the last seat on the plane and flew back to New York with her,” the chef shared. “That’s the moment I knew I never wanted to be separated from her.”
Peltz added that they currently split their time between London and Los Angeles, with the latter being their main stomping grounds.
“Every time we go to London, Brooklyn gets so excited to show me all the places he grew up. When we’re in L.A., we have our own little traditions that make us happy,” Peltz said. “Every Sunday we go to the farmers market and it’s the little things like that make it feel like home. Los Angeles is where we spend most of our time.”
The couple also gushed over one another when asked what qualities they treasure most in each other.
“His kindness, his heart, and his sensitivity,” Peltz answered, with Beckham responding, “She is perfect in every way.”
