He played on his school’s football team but didn’t continue in the sport due to his impatience and dislike for early mornings.

In an interview shared by @itzbasito on X, Wizkid talked about his footballer friends who party with him but don’t smoke or drink, as they have to wake up at 6 am for training, which he admires as dedication.

He also shared that he doesn’t travel with bodyguards because he views his management team as family, and his manager, Sunday Are, is like a father figure to him.
