"How Efe Omorogbe, 2Baba's ex-manager stopped the singer from helping me" – Dammy Krane

Dammy Krane, a Nigerian musician, dropped a bombshell, claiming that his fellow artist, 2Baba’s ex-manager, Efe Omorogbe, prevented the famed singer from giving a helping hand during their time together at Hypertek Records.

This disclosure comes in light of 2Baba’s separation from his longtime manager, Omorogbe.

Dammy Krane, using his X handle, shared a screenshot of the report on social media.

“This man was the reason why 2baba didn’t do the things he planned to do for me while I was signed to Hypertek. Thank God.”

In 2020, 2baba admitted that he didn’t do much for Dammy Krane, whom he previously signed to his HyperTek record label.

This was revealed after Dammy Krane shared a screenshot of a DM sent to him by 2face, who revealed that he was unable to do anything for his Act due to legal concerns at the time.

2Baba joined with Now Muzik management after leaving The Plantashun Boiz in 2004.

On Wednesday, Muzik posted a joint statement on Instagram, indicating that 2face and Efe’s mutual agreement to part ways is effective immediately.

Efe expressed gratitude to 2Baba, noting that working with him was “beyond work.”

While celebrating his achievements with 2Baba throughout the course of their 20-year association, he promised that he and his firm will continue to support the artist from the sidelines.

On his part, 2Baba stated that he “owes a lot of my career success to Efe and his team at Now Muzik.”
