Manchester United continued their winning streak in the Premier League with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
Erik ten Hag’s men got off to a flying start, taking the lead just 36 seconds into the game through Rasmus Hojlund’s early strike.
The Danish striker continued his impressive form by doubling his tally a few minutes later, benefiting from a deflection off Alejandro Garnacho’s effort.
Despite Luton’s efforts, they could only manage to pull one goal back through Carlton Morris in the 14th minute.
The match settled down after the frantic start, with both teams creating chances but failing to find the back of the net.
Hojlund’s performance was particularly notable, as he broke a Premier League record with his brace.
His first goal surpassed the record held previously by Erling Haaland and Thierry Henry, to emerge the fastest goal in the Premier League.
