An unidentified helicopter crashed into a building and caught fire on Tuesday, late afternoon, causing fear and panic in Lagos State.
The incident happened on Oba Akran Street in Ikeja, the main center of Lagos State, next to the AP gas station and the United Bank for Africa.
According to an eyewitness, the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. However, the survival of the helicopter pilots was still yet to be identified.
Additionally, it was unclear if there had been any other fatalities, as first responders were still busy with ongoing rescue operations. The Lagos Fire and Rescue Service was awaiting a further emergency response to remedy the situation.
