Heidi Klum sent well wishes to her daughter Leni Olumi Klum as she moved into college in New York City on Tuesday.
The “America’s Got Talent” judge posted a photo of herself wearing bejeweled white lingerie and massive feather wings while walking the runway in the 2003 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
“Today is your big move to head off to college,” Klum, 49, began in the caption, adding two crying emojis. “Seems like only yesterday that this photo was taken when I was four months pregnant with you safe and sound in my belly.
“Sometimes I wish I could always have you that close but I know it’s now time for you to go spread your wings and fly. Take flight, be safe and shine bright my @leniklum 💖”
Leni, 18, also took to her Instagram Story to post a photo of what appears to be her wearing a bright yellow hoodie lying in her new bed and snuggling a teddy bear wearing a Los Angeles Kings hockey jersey.
“My new snuggle buddy,” she captioned the photo.
The supermodel, who has yet to name the exact university Leni is attending, previously gushed about Leni fleeing to the Big Apple for the next four years.
“I am [so proud].You know, she has her head screwed on right,” she told Entertainment Tonight earlier this month. “Right now, college is on top of the list. It’s not modeling and she’s really excited for that next chapter in her life.”
Heidi added that she’s “sad” her daughter will be moving away from her siblings, sons Henry, 16, and Johan, 15, and daughter Lou, 12. Luckily for Leni, she’s been to the city plenty of times while her mom filmed “Project Runway.”
“So, she knows it well because I always move my family to New York when we were still filming. So, I think she’s going to have a good time, but my heart will be sad,” she continued.
Leni graduated from Pacifica Christian High School in Santa Monica in June. Her “proud” mom posted a video of her walking across the stage and accepting her diploma in a royal blue cap and gown.
Heidi’s ex-husband Seal adopted Leni in 2009 although her biological father is Flavio Briatore.
