Hollywood actress Halle Berry and her estranged husband Olivier Martinez have finally ended their seven-year long divorce case.
Despite agreeing to a prenuptial agreement at the beginning of their marriage, she is reportedly responsible for paying Maeco’s child support, who is 10 years old.
In addition, the court ruled that she must pay an additional 4.3% of her income over $2 million.
The actress is required to cover all of Maceo’s extracurricular costs, including sports, as well as his private school tuition. His health insurance, including any out-of-pocket expenses and dental and medical coverage, is also her responsibility.
Following their separation, the couple started divorce proceedings in 2016, but the court case took a while to resolve because of concerns about child support and custody.
The unresolved issues surrounding these topics have now been resolved in the legal filings filed at the Superior Court of Los Angeles County.
According to the most recent court papers, Halle and Olivier have decided to divide Maceo’s physical and legal custody. According to the agreement, Olivier will have custody of him from Wednesday to Friday and the actress will have him from Monday to Wednesday.
The court granted them the discretion to choose how to divide weekend custody of their kid.
Maceo is now required to attend individual and family counseling sessions, as ordered by the court.
