GSU Officer Arrested In Connection With Death Of Slay Queen Who Fell Off Lang’ata Apartment

It was earlier reported that Nelvin Museti jumped to her death but now it is clear she was pushed off the building.

Detectives in Nairobi have now turned their investigations from suicide to murder as they seek to unravel what transpired leading to the death of the 28-year-old slay queen.

As the probe continues, the police have arrested a General Service Unit (GSU) officer in connection with Nelvin’s death.

The GSU officer is suspected to have strangled the woman before throwing her from the balcony at the third floor of Ascort Apartments.

It is believed the officer murdered Nelvin and pushed her off the building to look like suicide.

The motive of the murder is yet to be established.

Eyewitnesses, including neighbours, informed the police and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detectives that they heard a loud thud, prompting them to investigate, only to find the tragic aftermath.

The apartment caretaker alerted the police after witnessing the horrifying event.

Police arrived at the scene and found Nelvin’s lifeless body at the back of the apartment building.

Preliminary reports indicate that she had no visible physical injuries, but blood was reportedly oozing from her nose.

Police moved in to arrest the GSU officer after a postmortem on Nelvin’s body indicated foul play in her death.
