A fresh graduate has taken to social media to express his shock after discovering that he has been posted to serve his one-year NYSC programme with the South-West security network, codenamed Amotekun Corps.
The young graduate, whose identity is yet to be revealed, shared a screenshot of his NYSC deployment letter on his Twitter page @bigfeeztm.
According to the screenshot, his place of primary assignment is listed as Amotekun, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Expressing disbelief and humorously questioning the authenticity of the posting, the graduate wrote; “NA JOKE BE THIS?”
The unexpected posting to Amotekun Corps, a regional security outfit established to complement the efforts of the Nigerian police and other security agencies in tackling crime and ensuring the safety of lives and property in the South-West region, sparked a flurry of reactions on social media.
The graduate’s post quickly went viral, garnering massive attention and generating a wave of hilarious comments and reactions from netizens.
