We hope he gets signed by Fjord Models.
Page Six hears that the new “it” boy of Fashion Week is, rather unfairly, both a drop-dead gorgeous model and a billionaire, by virtue of being an heir to Norway’s biggest salmon fortune.
Sockeye spies tell us they spotted 29-year-old Gustav Magnar Witzoe — who has piercing blue eyes and blond lox — at a bash for Gigi Hadid’s new fashion line, Guest in Residence, at L’Avenue at Saks on Tuesday, hanging out with Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach.
Apparently Witzoe, who we are hereby dubbing the Smoking Salmon, is worth a stunning $4 billion, according to Forbes.
His father, the elder Gustav, gave him half his company, SalMar, one of the world’s largest salmon producers, in 2013.
Witzoe previously told Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet that his parents now “believe they should have taken more time to think it over,” before saddling him with a large inheritance at age 19. “That’s due probably to my being shoved out into the public limelight. It was very strange at first. It makes you a bit nervous about what people think.”
He seems to be getting used to it.
The salmon scion has invested in European startups like Snapchat competitor Gobi and Key Bulter, which helps Airbnb hosts with maintenance. He also has a philanthropic organization, The W Initiative, which supports children’s health and education.
He’s repped by Oslo based modeling agency Idol Looks, but we’re told isn’t going to be walking in any shows this season.
But he will be around town going to various events this week, including Tom Ford, where we’ll be looking out for him in the front roe.
Between the money and the the mug, he’s quite the catch.
