Ghana’s disappointing AFCON campaign ended in a shocking 2-2 draw against Mozambique, despite initially leading the game 2-0.

Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew netted twice from the penalty spot to give Ghana a comfortable lead. However, Mozambique staged a remarkable comeback, scoring two late goals in stoppage time to secure a draw.

The unexpected result led to Ghana’s elimination from Group B of the tournament, with Egypt leapfrogging them to secure qualification.
