Nollywood actress Caroline Danjuma has taken to social media to express her outrage and threaten legal action against Ashluxe, a luxury goods company, after she and her colleague, Shan George, were allegedly sprayed with tear gas by the firm’s security personnel.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, Caroline narrated the incident, explaining that she had parked her car in front of an Ashluxe store while waiting for an Uber to arrive and pick up Shan George. However, their brief wait was disrupted by a man who ordered them to leave the premises, despite Caroline’s pleas to stay until the Uber arrived.
The situation escalated when two men, allegedly from Ashluxe’s security team, arrived and began hurling insults at the actresses. One of the men returned with tear gas and sprayed it into their vehicle, causing harm and distress to both women.
Caroline Danjuma has demanded that Ashluxe take responsibility for the actions of their staff while urging them to get ready to pay for damages. She emphasized that the company’s failure to train their employees and control their behaviour reflects poorly on its brand.

“@ashluxury since you don’t know how to train your staff , your police after spraying tear gas on us decided to go bring out his gun until he was stopped .. JUST BECAUSE WE PARKED IN FRONT OF YOUR ALMIGHTY BUILDING WAITING FOR AB UBER . Pls get ready to pay for damages ..
The way you treat people says a lot about your brand .
