Malam Adamu Fika, a former secretary to the government of the federation is dead.
At the age of 90, Fika, the Chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum’s Board of Trustees, passed away.
He was reportedly transported back to his home country from the United Kingdom, where he had sought medical attention, on Tuesday night when he passed away. The plane touched down in Kaduna State.
Alhaji Ali Gimba Fika, the Acting Secretary of the Fika Emirate Council, Potiskum, announced that the former SGF would be laid to rest at the Sultan Bello in Kaduna on Wednesday at approximately 4 p.m.
“Burial is Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Sultan Bello Mosque, Kaduna, Kaduna state, immediately after Asar prayers (around 4:00 pm),” he said.
