Manchester City emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over rivals Manchester United, thanks to Phil Foden’s double.
Despite an early shock from Marcus Rashford’s long-range strike putting United ahead, City responded strongly in the second half.
Foden equalized with a stunning strike in the 56th minute, beating United’s goalkeeper Andre Onana.
As the game progressed, City’s dominance paid off. Foden scored his second goal with ten minutes remaining, putting City in the lead.
Erling Haaland sealed the victory for City in the 92nd minute, completing the double over their Manchester rivals this season.
