Nollywood star Femi Adebayo is over the moon as his Netflix Original Yoruba movie, Jagun Jagun, receives 12 nominations for the 2024 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.
The film, which premiered in 2023, has quickly become a fan favorite and is now recognized in various prestigious categories.
The nominations include Best Indigenous Film, Best Supporting Actor, Director of the Year, Best Use of Makeup, Best Cinematography, Best Costume, Best Actor, Best Sound, Best Soundtrack, Best Production Design, Best Special Effects, and Best Actress.
In a post on his X handle, Femi Adebayo shared his excitement with fans, he wrote:
“Wow, Guys! We’ve done it again!! Delighted to announce that JAGUN JAGUN – THE WARRIOR (a Netflix Original Movie) has been nominated for Twelve (12) Awards at the 2024 BON Awards.”
This follows the movie’s recent success, where it secured seven nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
