Nigerian international artist David Adeleke, popularly known as ‘Davido,’ concluded the year 2023 at the Harvesters International Christian Center in Lagos.

A viral video featured Davido, Isreal DMW, aka Juju, and other crew members in the church, joining the ranks of many worldwide attending crossover services to welcome the new year.

In a clip, churchgoers were on the brink of losing focus after the Unavailable crooner was caught on camera.

The church cleric, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, swiftly had to call his members to order, stating:

“Pay attention to God’s word.”

The video of the congregation losing focus upon spotting Davido triggered massive reactions from online users. Many also commented on the pastor’s response to the unexpected presence.

In another online clip, Israel DMW was spotted capturing a selfie video of Davido while the Lead Pastor welcomed the congregation to the year 2024.

Davido, accompanied by his aide Israel DMW and others, appeared on the big screen, eliciting cheers from the congregation as the camera panned through them.

Meanwhile, as the year 2023 ended, Davido’s logistic assistant, Isreal Afeare, best known as Isreal DMW, sent a heartfelt thank-you message to his boss. 

The entertainment hypeman expressed gratitude to the DMW boss for the opportunity to tour 20 cities in Europe.

On his Instagram page, he revealed how his boss had granted him a Schengen visa and offered him the chance to visit different countries without any hassles.
