Etim Effiong opens up to his wife about how he handles female admirers

Nollywood actor Etim Effiong has opened up to his wife, Toyosi about maintaining boundaries and managing the tons of female admirers in his life.

During the celebration of his 7th wedding anniversary with his wife, Toyosi, the couple revisited a conversation they had seven years ago, reflecting on the challenges of their relationship and personal growth.

Toyosi asked her husband a tough but familiar question: “Do you have measures in place to safeguard yourself from the wildness and craziness?”

Etim responded thoughtfully, sharing how he has matured in managing such situations over the years.

“The simple answer to the question is I have measures in place, and I have always had measures in place. I guess the toolbox is getting better measures as I grow,” he said.

The actor highlighted the importance of boundaries and self-awareness in dealing with his “saviour complex.”

He explained, “I’ve learned to have boundaries in place and how to deal with my saviour complex. I cannot be there to save everyone who needs help; I cannot be their emotional support, the love of their lives, and their saviour. As I grow older, I have been able to handle this.”

His wife could be seen basking in the joy of the sweet words from her husband, as he candidly assured her.
