Erik ten Hag is reportedly keen to help Harry Maguire rediscover his form once he arrives at Manchester United next summer.
Maguire has come under scrutiny from fans and pundits through the 2021/22 campaign, with a section of fans urging the club to offload him.
However, Ten Hag is believed to be more than willing to offer the United skipper a lifeline with a change of position one of the considerations he is making.
The former Leicester City defender is currently out injured and could be sidelined for the rest of the season.
