Actress and producer Bose Alao asserts that Nigeria’s entertainment industry possesses significant untapped potential to confront the nation’s most urgent challenges.

In a recent interview with Saturday Beats, she ardently articulated how the film and entertainment sector could address a range of issues, including corruption, economic instability, disunity, and insufficient infrastructure.

“The entertainment industry has a unique power to foster unity by portraying diverse narratives that resonate with various ethnic groups. By showcasing shared values and experiences, films can bridge divides and promote national cohesion. A notable film like The Wedding Party brought together diverse cultures in a celebratory narrative, highlighting common traditions and the beauty of unity amid diversity,” she narrated.
