- Bobrisky, a well-known crossdresser, has been accused of failing to comply with the bail conditions set by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
- Bobrisky was arrested by the Lagos State Command of the EFCC for spraying the naira note.
- On April 4, EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale confirmed his bond release and his inability to comply with the information provided by The Punch and The Cable.
Bobrisky, a popular crossdresser, apparently failed to meet the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) bail conditions.
Recall that Bobrisky was arrested by the EFCC’s Lagos State Command after spraying the naira note.
However, in a new update to The Punch and The Cable on Thursday night, April 4, EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale confirmed his release on bail and failure to comply.
According to reports, Bobrisky may be asked to hand over his international passport to EFCC officials as part of his bail conditions, even if the condition agreement remains secret.
Oyewale said:
“Yes. He has been granted administrative bail. Normally when you take in a suspect lawfully, there are some thresholds as to the number of days he can be held in custody,”Oyewale said. “So, we are only complying with the law. We have offered him administrative bail. He has not met the bail conditions. If he meets the bail conditions today he will go home.”
