Ebuka pokes fun at Zubby Micheal as Timini becomes the highest-grossing Nollywood actor

In a recent remark, well-known Nigerian media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu subtly disparages actor Zubby Micheal, while Timini Egbuson tops the Nollywood box office.

As a result of the announcement that he will be the highest-earning Nollywood actor in 2023, Timini Egbuson celebrated the achievement on his verified Instagram profile today, May 23.

Remember how Zubby Michael made headlines on the internet in March 2024 when he declared he would acquire Timini since the actor claimed to be the biggest actor in Africa?

Timini Egbuson stated that he is the greatest actor in Africa and provided arguments for his claim during the television show “Ebuka Turns Up Africa.”

In response, Zubby Michael emphasized that he is the biggest actor in Africa stressing that he is capable of buying “Timini” and it is not coming from a place of pride.

However, Timini emerged as the highest grossing in Nollywood actor in the year 2023 meaning as of this moment, he is the biggest actor in Africa. Timini gather N1billion from the movies he featured in last year which include, “A Tribe Called Judah,” “The Kujus Again,” “Big Love,” “Honey Money,” “Something Like Gold,” “Unforgivable,” “The Bloom Boys,” “The Modern Woman,” and “Maniac.”

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, on the other hand, became the highest-grossing actor in Nollywood, joining the ranks of other celebs who celebrated with Timini in the comment area.

In response, Ebuka stated in the post’s comments section that Timini Egbuson is more than simply a talker and that he is an actor who provides proof for his statements.
