“Don’t Come Back To South Africa”- Nwabali reportedly threatened following Super Eagles victory

The goalie for the Super Eagles, Stanley Nwabali, has allegedly received threats from South Africans not to play for his team there after Bafana Bafana’s semifinal loss to Nigeria in penalty shootouts at the current 2023 African Cup of Nations.

Idah Peterside, a former international player for the Super Eagles, revealed this on Channels Television on Thursday, February 8.

Nwabali plays goalkeeping for the South African football team Chippa United.

GISTLOVER earlier reported that The Super Eagles’ goalie Stanley Nwabali has been promised 100 strippers to celebrate Nigeria’s triumph against South Africa, according to Big Brother Naija reality personality Angel Smith.

After a Wednesday penalty shootout, Nigeria’s Super Eagles defeated South Africa’s Bafana Bafana 4-2 to go to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final.

The game’s MVP was Stanley Nwabali, who stopped two penalty kicks.

In a post on X, Angel Smith expressed his joy at the win by requesting that artist and social media personality Yhemolee get in touch with Nwabali. He also promised to give the custodian 100 strippers to celebrate. Angel penned:

“Yhemolee call Nwabali, 100 strippers for him at Bay Rock. Thank you Nigeria and goodnight.”
