The Mavins Record, which is headed by Don Jazzy is now seeking either Investment or Sales for the record label, according to news on the Billboard website.
The website which has been active since 1995 is an home for extensive arrays of searchable, playable charts, music news, artist interviews and exclusives, amongst others.
Billboard has its Headquarters in New York but also caters to editorial correspondents in major cities around the world. They made this information known on their website today.
They claim that the Mavins Record Label is hoping to build on the global success they have had with Rema and Ayra Starr.
According to their sources, they say;
“Mavin Records is seeking investment or eyeing a potential full sale with bidding coming from the the Universal Music Group, HYBE and strong interest from music asset investors in the financial sector.”
