DJ Spinall (born 2 June 1984), also known as Top Boy, is a Nigerian super DJ, songwriter, music producer, label executive, and media personality.
He is one of the few renowned DJs who has been in the game for a long time and is still among the best.
The award-winning DJ came to prominence while working with a popular radio station in Lagos known as Ray Power 100.5 FM in 2004.
DJ Spinall is the Nigerian entertainer with the real name Oluseye Desmond Sodamola.

Early Life
DJ Spinall, with the birth name Sodamola Oluseye Desmond, was born on the 2nd of June 1984 in the commercial city of Lagos.
He grew alongside five other siblings. He came as the third child.
He is Yoruba by tribe and a Christian who grew up in a middle-class family in Lagos’s ancient city and moved to Ogun state South-west Nigeria a few years later.
As a child, DJ Spinall loved to listen to music and was a huge fan of Legendary Onyeka Onwenu, Bob Marley, Lucky Dube, and a host of others.
He got his first gig as a DJ in a church and was paid five hundred Naira for his services.
Education
DJ Spinall completed his primary and secondary school in Lagos, including obtaining a mandatory Senior School leaving Certificate (SSCE) and the West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate.
Afterward, he attended a University not too far from Lagos at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun state, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Career
DJ Spinall is a Nigerian Disc Jockey known for his trademark top hat. He started professionally as a DJ working for a Lagos
base radio station known as Ray Power with the frequency 100.5 FM back in 2004
He became prominent and even joined an industry known as Nite to promote underground talents.
The then Mavin’s record superstar, Wande Coal was impressed with this DJ’s work and employed him as his personal DJ.
His job made him appeared on TV and in some music videos with Wande Coal, which was when he adopted a style edge outfit called TheCAP. The secret behind the unique identity, he said, was traced back to his root culture.
Fans enjoyed his mixes and his ability to turn on the party and nicknamed him “The Crazy Azz Party” acronym from TheCAP.
DJ Spinall gathered more influence and started his record label and management company named TheCAP music launched in 2014.
Later on, he signed music producers to his label and recruited crew members to assist his brand Company.
That same year, he released his first hit single titled “GbaGbe E,” featuring Burna Boy.
DJ Spinall has gone to gain collaboration with the likes of 2baba, Wande Coal, Wizkid, Davido, Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Kizz Daniel, Joeboy, Fireboy DML, and a host of other artists.
DJ Spinall, in 2017, became the first DJ of Nigerian descent to tour 5 cities in the United States; New York, Houston, Miami, Washington DC, and Austin. He was appreciated with an award at the BET Awards held in Los Angeles for the Official DJ of the year 2017.

He even revealed in an interview that he drinks Garri at least once a week.
