Diogo Jota Or Roberto Firmino; Who Deserves More Playing Time At Anfield?

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp would be pleased that his key men Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah are back from the African showpiece in Cameroon.
And with the duo available for selection there are many decisions the German tactician would be expected to make in the coming days.

The Reds may have been linked with a couple of strikers in the past season as they aimed to add to their attacking unit.

The likes of Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino are decent players. But Klopp prefers to identify as squad members based on the number of games they play in a season.

But with the signing of Diogo Jota at the club, everything seems to be on the positive for the Reds.

He’s filled superbly into the boots of Roberto Firmino in the Brazilian (forward) absence. While he’s produced master class for Liverpool like that Mane and Salah do at Anfield.

And with Liverpool needing goals here and there, it may well be fine for Liverpool to continue with Jota as the center forward at Anfield.

While Firmino may depart Anfield to a destination he chooses for himself. Jota has impressed for Portugal National side along with the talismanic Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

And it wouldn’t be a bad idea if he played as the main man with a player of Roberto Firmino’s quality supporting him at times where Liverpool favours a 4–4-2 formation.

This will be a tall call to make from Jurgen Klopp’s end owing to the Brazilian (Roberto Firmino) heroics at some point for Liverpool.

However, that’s the safest thing to do in the case of Diogo Jota as he’s in a rich vein of form at the moment much to the benefit of Liverpool Football Club.
