Dineo Ranaka kicked off her radio career as a trainee at 5fm and later moved to Yfm, where she worked as a radio producer. Later, she co-hosted the Essential Rush, a popular afternoon drive radio show.
She walked into the spotlight for her show Dineo Live on Drive and rose to prominence in the country.
She was a co-host of a music show on e.TV Club 808 alongside Moeti ‘Mo Flava’ Tsiki. Together they did prime rime radio and television at the same time.
Dineo Ranaka also presented on All Access and hosted a music game show on e.tv. She also appeared on television serials including Gazlam, Gomora. and Scandal.
After leaving Yfm, she returned to radio as the host of Highveld Stereo, a weekend show.
She joined Cliff Central, an internet radio station though she did not spend much time with the radio station.
Dineo Ranaka hosts the mid-morning show on Metro FM The Bridge, alongside Somizi Mhlongo and Lerato Kganyago. She was the host of the Top 40 Chart Show on Metro FM for two years.
