Recall that in October 2022 the three-year-old boy lost his life in a deeply saddening incident. The heart-wrenching episode unfolded as he drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in the exclusive Banana Island area of Lagos State.

Following his rescue from the pool, he was urgently rushed to a hospital in the Lekki area of Lagos, where medical professionals sorrowfully confirmed his death. The news of Ifeanyi’s tragic death sent shockwaves through the public, prompting an outpouring of condolences and reactions from numerous celebrities on social media.

In a recent development, Kemi Olunloyo commemorated the anniversary of Ifeanyi’s birth, highlighting the fourth birthday that he would have celebrated had he not met with the unfortunate mishap.

She gave the details of his demise, asserting that he reportedly drowned in the swimming pool at his father’s rented residence on Halloween, October 31st, 2022.

Furthermore, she noted that the estate where the incident occurred still denies the reported drowning on their property. She also alleged that there was a secret burial for Ifeanyi in an unknown location.

She wrote:

David Adeleke’s 4th child Ifeanyi would have been 4 yo today. The child reportedly drowned in a swimming pool at his rented Banana Island home on Halloween October 31st 2022. The estate however still denies till today that no one drowned on any property in their estate. The child was secretly buried in an unknown location. “
