David Adeleke known professionally as Davido, Nigerian music superstar, has shared his thoughts on who is billed to be the next Afrobeats singer that will take the world by storm.
He made this revelation was asked during an interview to mention the artiste he believes will be the next big person in Afrobeats.
Davido said it was hard mentioning one person because there are many of them who are currently doing great in the genre.
He, however, started by calling Naira Marley, saying that his story of moving back to Nigeria from UK and starting the Marlian movement is amazing.
Omo Baba Olowo went on to mention buzzing producers turned singers, Young John and Pheelz who both have smash hit singles in the past one year.
He said that this is the year of the producers and he is glad they are also getting to shine as artistes.
Davido added that Afrobeats is making so much of an impact that international record labels and coming to Africa and Nigeria in particular, to pick up talents.
