Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer David Adedeji Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, has shared a list of 427 verified orphanage homes set to receive his 300 million donations.
Gistreel recently published a report about the singer’s plan to donate 300 million naira to various orphanages in the country.
Hours after the announcement, the singer posted a screenshot as evidence of the donation on his X (formerly Twitter) page, responding to criticism from a social media user.
The following day, Davido wrote a brief note on his media page, stating that the money is his small contribution to the country.
He wrote: “To our nation’s children, I remain grateful to be in a position to help. Please accept my humble contribution. Together we shall shape a brighter future! ⏳❤️.”

Alongside the article, the singer published a list containing the names, locations, and account numbers of each orphanage set to receive his donations.
