Famous singer, Davido has reacted amid the intense criticisms he is facing for a music video released by his signee, Logos Olori, titled ‘Jayelo.’
The video sparked controversy as it was perceived as insensitive and disrespectful to Muslims.
In the music video, Logos Olori is shown on top of a building, singing and making prayer gestures, while Muslims are seen below engaging in their religious prayers. The depiction offended some Muslims, leading to widespread criticism on social media.
In the face of this brouhaha, Davido took to Twitter to break his silence on the matter.
He posted a series of tweets, one of which quoted the lyrics of one of his songs, ‘Feel’, indicating that he didn’t want to engage in a fight.
In a follow-up tweet, Davido also bragged about having formidable men behind him.
He wrote:
“I wan make u show me, make we no dey fight”.
In another Twitter post, he said:
“Una know say ‘Feel’ never start Abi? IN FACT ‘Unavailable’ never start!
No choice logos!! Them go feel am!! MEN MOUNT”.

In related news, Davido a few days ago, revealed that he has generously donated the sum of N237 million to several orphanage homes across Nigeria.
The music star made the announcement about his latest donation through a statement shared on his social media pages on Thursday, 20th July.
Davido disclosed in the statement that he is making the donation through The David Adeleke Foundation (DAF).
The music star said he disbursed N237 million to 424 orphanages across the country. According to him, a total of 13, 818 children benefited from the donation.
