The Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into frenzy as popular artists, Davido, Psquare and Tunde Ednut offered to take care of veteran actor, John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu’s medical bills.
The comic actor had earlier disclosed that he was down with diabetes and was seeking help for his medical treatment.
This heartwarming development happens in the wake of a disturbing video that surfaced yesterday and showed Mr. Ibu being treated at the hospital while in a critical condition.
He said in the video that he is suffering from a serious illness that puts his limbs at serious risk.
He made a public plea for assistance, requesting both cash assistance and prayers for his medical care.
However, today, a well-known Facebook writer named Kelly Hassino made an announcement regarding the kind deed done by Davido, P-Square, and Tunde Ednut.
He excitedly announced the news in a message on social media, that Davido, Tunde Ednut and Psquare have decided to take care of Mr Ibu’s medical bills.

“Good news, Tunde Ednut, P Square, and Davido have assured Mr. Ibu that he no longer needs to make a public appeal, as they have committed to sponsor his treatment at one of the world’s best hospitals.
