Dillon Danis turned his debut boxing match with Logan Paul into MMA fight, after receiving Conor McGregor’s advise.
Going into the Saturday night fight, McGregor, a UFC champion, earlier charged Danis to break legs, amidst other things contrary to the boxing rules.
Funny as it might sound, the fight with Paul took an unexpected turn, resulting in a huge in-ring brawl, following a chaotic MMA move on Paul, by Danis.
The YouTuber was believed to be on the brink of a decision win when his opponent pulled the stunt.
Danis went for a guillotine choke but ended up on the canvas, dodging punches from his opponent. The situation escalated as security guards rushed to rescue Paul.
McGregor’s teammate, Danis, began throwing punches at security personnel, leading to more individuals, including Jake Paul, jumping into the ring, resulting in a mass scuffle.
The fight was eventually called off, and Logan Paul claimed his first boxing victory by disqualification, having previously faced two losses against KSI.
In his post-fight interview, Paul expressed interest in entering professional wrestling, possibly facing Rey Mysterio, but he made it clear that his boxing career is far from over.
Paul’s aspirations include a boxing match against Conor McGregor, who extended praise to Danis on social media following his poor first start to boxing.
Throughout the fight, Danis continued to trash-talk Paul, without throwing many punches, but Paul dominated each round, before the squabble occurred.
Meanwhile, Danis is expected to return to the MMA, where he actually belongs. Recall he suffered a severe knee injury in 2019 that affected his career in the Mixed Martial Arts sport.
