Veteran music producer Cobhams Asuquo has premiered a brand new music dubbed ‘Cover Me,’ featuring legendary 2Face Idibia (AKA 2Baba) and Larry Gaaga.
Both 2Baba and Larry Gaaga are known for adding a ‘Kabal’ twist to songs. With their unique approaches and renditions of their verses, the duo elevated the song to make it even more appealing to listeners.
Cobhams infused the Afrobeats music genre with the prominent Chicago street sonic, Drill, a hip-hop music subgenre. Drill draws inspiration from hardcore hip-hop, trap, gangster rap, and footwork.
‘Cover Me’ has a strong beat, is lyrically gorgeous, and is quite catchy. Listen to the music of the player below.
