Fans have unleashed thousands of tweets protesting against the Headies Awards for snubbing the “Love Nwantititi” crooner despite the impact he has created in the music industry this year.
After receiving a couple of international awards, topping charts in hundreds of countries, becoming the most subscribed Afrobeat Artist with over 3.15 million Subscribers etc, CKAY fails to get a single nomination at the 2022 Headies Awards.
“Love Nwantiti” has sold over 7.5 Million units globally, making it the #1 best-selling African song of all-time. It has received over 25 awards (certifications included). Imagine an International Award as Big as Brit Awards nominated Ckay for best International Act but a local Award Like Headies didn’t nominate Ckay in Any Category.
Ckay had the best year in 2021 and took Afrobeat to the Whole world.
