Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Trevoh Chalobah will miss Chelsea’s Carabao Cup semi-final first leg tie against Tottenham Hotspur due to injury.
Tuchel also provided the latest update on Timo Werner, Andreas Christensen and Timo Werner.
Recall that Chalobah picked up a knock against Liverpool.
Chelsea head to the game after a 1-1 draw with Liverpool in their last Premier League encounter.
“Andreas is a doubt for tomorrow,” Tuchel was quoted by Chelsea’s official website as saying at his pre-match press conference.
“Trevoh is definitely out for tomorrow because he has had a reinjury from before.
“Timo Werner trained yesterday, we have one more session to go and he feels much better which is a really good sign.”
The kick-off time for Chelsea vs Tottenham is 8.45 pm.
