Top European clubs Chelsea, Arsenal and PSG are reportedly gearing up to make substantial offers of €90m for Napoli’s star striker, Victor Osimhen.
Football Italia suggests that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis may entertain bids below Osimhen’s release clause.
Osimhen, who recently extended his contract until June 2026, is reportedly open to depart Serie A and seek new opportunities elsewhere.
Despite having a release clause set between €120-130m, De Laurentiis could be open to negotiating a deal below this threshold, given Osimhen’s desire to leave.
Intermediaries have already begun discussions with Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, to facilitate a move for the Nigerian international.
Osimhen has been a prolific scorer for Napoli since joining from Lille in 2020, securing 72 goals in 125 appearances.
His goal scoring spree saw the Naples club lift the Scudetto for the first time in over three decades.
Previous reports have linked Osimhen with some Chelsea legends, including Didier Drogba and his Nigerian compatriot John Obi Mikel.
It has been rumoured that the duo have encouraged the African best player to move to London with Chelsea, who are also lacking a prolific poacher.
