Estevão Willian made history yet again, scoring the decisive goal in Palmeiras’ 1-0 win over Grêmio.
The lone goal earned him the record of the first under-18 player in Brasileirão history to record 20 goal contributions in a single season.
The 17-year-old forward, who has tallied 12 goals and eight assists across 27 league appearances, is already regarded as one of South America’s most exciting young talents.
Recall Chelsea finalized a deal with Palmeiras over the summer, securing Estevão’s transfer for a fee of up to £51.4 million.
However, he won’t officially join the Blues until he turns 18.
Known for his skillful play, Estevão has even surpassed Neymar’s record for the most goal contributions by an under-17 player in the Brazilian league.
While Chelsea’s exact plans for Estevão remain unclear, he’s expected to join the first-team squad upon arrival in 2025.
