Information reaching hitztv.com.ng has it that Japanese voice actor, Motomu Kiyokawa, has been confirmed dead.
According to information, Motomu Kiyokawa, was known for his role as Kozo Fuyutsuki in “Neon Genesis Evangelion” and was also active as an actor, died of pneumonia at 11:10 am on the 17th.
He is 87 years old.
CAUSE OF DEATH: Motomu Kiyokawa is reportedly to have died after battling with pneumonia at 11:00AM.
An Anime page on Twitter pays tribute to Motomu Kiyokawa: “We are ysad to learn of Motomu Kiyokawa’s passing. He starred in anime such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Mobile Suit Gundam, Is The Order a Rabbit, and others. We will miss continuing to hear his voice in new projects, but we are happy with the roles he gave us. Rest In Peace.”
