Shatta Wale, a popular Ghanaian rapper, has sparked controversy with a recent remark regarding Grammy award winner Damini Ogulu, nicknamed Burna Boy.
Shatta Wale said during an appearance on a show that he and Burna Boy used to be friends, claiming the Nigerian musician questioned his source of money and acquisition.
The rapper also stated that Burna Boy was upset with him because a former employee lied to him about sleeping with his girlfriend.
Shatta Wale chastised Burna Boy for not having the bravery to question if he genuinely slept with his girlfriend, but chose to trust his fired employee.
“Burna Boy heard from one of my guy that I sacked that I slept with his girlfriend,” Shatta Wale said in the clip.
This comes only a few days after Burna Boy engaged in a heated debate with renowned rapper Eedris Abdulkareem on social media.
