What’s black and white and permanent all over? Brooklyn Beckham’s collection of love tattoos.
While the newly married son of David and Victoria Beckham has shown off several tattoos dedicated to his wife Nicola Peltz, 27, he recently admitted that a whopping 70 of his 100 tats are actually in honor of his bride.
The social media chef — who said he frequently makes Peltz angel hair pasta — made the admission to USA Today at Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood event last week.
Referring to the word “married” he had inked on his hand this month, Beckham, 23, said, “I kind of was just like, ‘Oh, we’re married, why not?’ It wasn’t a thing I thought about for months. I got married five months ago, why not?”
He said the “Transformers” actress “got tears in her eyes” when he showed her the tattoo, adding, “She always cries when I get her another tattoo. I always love to surprise her with new ink.”
Among his other surprises include the words “our little bubble” on the top of his hand and his wife’s eyes tattooed on the back of his neck — above a love letter Peltz wrote her future husband when they were engaged.
“My forever boy,” the note reads. “Read this anytime you feel anxious. I want you to know how deeply loved you are. You have the kindest heart I’ve ever met and I hope I never go a day without your love.”
“I think you are so incredible,” the lengthy tattoo continues. “Just know we can get through it all together if you breathe slow and trust. I love you beyond. Love always, your future wifey.”
And speaking of love notes, Mr. Peltz Beckham also had the vows from their April wedding — which took place at the Peltz family estate in Palm Beach — tattooed on his arm.
Other tributes include “Nicola” on the side of his neck, the word “lover” on his index finger, her late grandmother’s name on his wrist, the letter “N” on his ring finger, a tattoo of Peltz’s mother’s rosary beads around his wrist and a poem on his right arm that reads: “My life, my love, my truth, my breath, my reason, my beauty, my precious.”
While the heiress might not have 70 pieces of art dedicated to her husband, Peltz returned the favor by tattooing “Brooklyn” on her back during the pair’s engagement.
If the couple that inks together, stays together, these two are definitely in it for the long haul.
