Brentford have triggered the buy option clause to sign on-loan Nigeria 18-year-old defender Benjamin Frederick.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Kaduna based Simoiben Academy graduate will become The Bees new permanent player until 2028.

“Brentford decided to activate the option and sign him from Kaduna based Simoiben Academy, sources from Nigeria confirm.
“The contract will be valid until 2028,” Romano added.
Frederick who plays for the Nigeria national under-20 team, joined Brentford B on loan from Nasarawa United in 2023.

The centre-back is a product of the Simoiben Football Academy owned by Super Eagles’ star Moses Simon.
