The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has returned to Nigeria this evening, Thursday, October 6, after weeks in the United Kingdom on a rumoured medical trip.
The absence of Tinubu in the recent days has been questioned by many.
In a tweet on Thursday, presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, said Tinubu had returned to Abuja.He said, “Our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja from London.”
The APC Presidential Campaign Council had postponed the kick-off of its campaigns earlier slated for Wednesday, September 28.
Director-General, of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong disclosed this in a statement Tuesday, September 27.

According to him, the adjustment of the timetable and schedule of activities is in order to accommodate growing interests shown by various political tendencies in being part of the campaign council, but many have cited the sudden disappearance of Tinubu to be the cause of the postponement.
