Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma took the oath of office on Monday afternoon, marking the beginning of his second term.
In the state capital of Owerri, at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Uzodimma took the oath of office to begin his second term in office at approximately 3:23 p.m.
Earlier, Lady Chinyere Ekomaru took her oath of office as the deputy governor of Imo State.
Thousands of Imolites and visitors from other states, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), attended the ceremony.
