Kano Tribunal: DSS Refutes Claims on Judge Arrest

The Kano State governor’s race between Governor Abba Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party and Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress is scheduled to be decided by the Appeal Court sitting in Abuja on Friday, November 17, 2023. The ruling is expected to be delivered by 10 a.m. According to The PUNCH, the court reserved judgment on November 6, 2023, in the state governor’s appeal.

Yusuf is contesting his removal from office by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which on September 20 declared 165, 663 of the governorship election to be invalid.
